Kai - Port Jackson Shark ; 17 - Socially awkward and easily overstimulated, Kai tends to keep to himself on a small cove. He's reserved, but not necessarily cowardly. He once saved Aminah from drowning, resulting in them being partnered for some time before splitting. They are not on particularly good terms, though Kai harbors no resentment himself. (x)
Aminah - Androctonus (fat-tailed”) scorpion ; 19 - A proud, short-tempered shrew of a woman, Aminah considers the Lab 6 experiments to be godlike creatures, beings that are above animals and mankind alike. She has had many sexual partners, but as it stands Kai is the only monogamous partner she has had. (x)
Bahadur - Boa-constrictor ; 18 - A pacifist, Bahadur is something of a gentle giant, a stark contrast to Aminah, as the two are very close. He exhibits extreme patience and caring for others, and often follows up Aminah's temper tantrums with apologies on her behalf. He is the partner of a rosy maple moth boy named Saturn, and, despite is gentle nature, does not tolerate any animosity toward the boy. (x)
Basil - Arctic fox ; 19 - With the kind of grace and majesty that one might assume of actual royalty, Basil fancies himself a more aristocratic creature than most. He's proud, but does not make to put others down, instead wielding the idea as a standard for himself to live up to. He dresses in surprisingly simple garb, claiming that the truly beautiful do no need fine garments. He and Aminah butt heads a lot, as he finds her temper distasteful. (x)
Wick - Coyote ; 17 - A laid-back, smoldering looking lanky boy with a smokey voice and silver tongue, Wick's talents include singing, smiling smugly, and winning at poker. When they were abducted, Wick had just met Charlie on a playset, and tried to protect her from their captors. He carries that protectiveness for the young girl with him to this day. (x)
Charlie - Chickadee ; 16 - Brimming with optimism and good intentions, it's hard not to love a girl like Charlie. The young lady loves above all else to sing, and in fact taught Wick how to do so herself. She is quick to express herself in song or hum a favorite tune if you are feeling down. All she can recall of her life before her abduction is the memory of falling asleep on her livingroom couch while her mother sang softly and father cleaned their dinner dishes. (x)
